The Standard covers a large number of business areas that impinge on the successful management of information. It checks the business operates to many best practice standards such as: Quality Management - ISO 9001 Information Security - ISO 27001 Health & Safety - BS 18001 Data Protection - BS 10012 Business Continuity - BS 25999 The above is just a short list of the more important best practice. You do not have to be Certified to all of these standards, but have to be able to demonstrate you take these in to the business through policies, procedures, processes and operations.
